Here’s a Tour of MSC Euribia’s Restaurants

MSC’s’ cruise ship, Euribia, features ten-plus places to eat and drink. Five speciality restaurants and six dining spots are included within your cruise fare.

I cruised on Euribia for a long weekend and managed to try out quite a few bars and restaurants. So, I’ve put together this guide on dining on MSC Euribia. By the end, you’ll know exactly where to go to enjoy food when you step on board, so read on to find out what to expect when it comes to your dining options.

Restaurants on the Euribia:

Complimentary Dining Options:

1. Aurora Boreale/Aurora Borealis: Twin restaurants located on Deck 6.
2. Green Orchid: A main dining restaurant on Deck 5, catering to around 600 guests.
3. Colorado River: Situated on Deck 6 aft, this restaurant has a seating capacity of over 700, with views looking over the ship’s promenade. 
4. Il Campo Restaurant: Exclusive to Grand Suite Aurea guests and located on Deck 7.
5. Marketplace Buffet: Available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks on Deck 15.
6. Atmosphere Bar South: A poolside snack bar on Deck 15 serving pizza and burgers.
7. Carousel Lounge: Providing light bites until early evening.

Complimentary Dining Options for Yatch Club Guests:

1. Yacht Club Restaurant and Grill and Bar: These are exclusive to Yacht Club guests and offer premium dining experiences.

Specialty Dining Options (Additional Charge):

1. Hola! Tacos & Cantina: Offers a variety of Mexican dishes like tacos and burritos.
2. Kaito Teppanyaki: A traditional teppanyaki restaurant.
3. Kaito Sushi and Robatayaki: Combines sushi with small portions of multiple courses.
4. Kaito Sushi: Serves a range of traditional and modern sushi rolls.
5. Le Grill: A steakhouse with a French twist.
6. Jean-Philippe Crepes & Gelato: A place for a sweet treat on the promenade.
7. Atmosphere Ice Cream Bar: This is a poolside ice cream bar.

Free Restaurants on MSC Euribia

1. Main Dining Rooms

Instead of featuring a single primary dining area, MSC Euribia boasts five distinct smaller dining rooms situated across decks 5, 6, and 7, these include Aurora Boreale/Aurora Borealis, Green Orchid, Colorado River and Il Campo Restaurant. 

Each of these dining rooms has a unique name, yet they all present the same food options. However, the dining room menus change every day, providing variety.

While on the Euribia, I enjoyed the food in the main dining room. Before I went, I heard some feedback that it wasn’t the best. However, I would agree that it wasn’t very high quality compared to other cruise lines, such as Celebrity. However, I enjoyed the food, and the service was quick too.

These dining venues have varying operating hours and cater to different groups of guests. Your designated dining room is indicated on your keycard. 

Some restaurants exclusively serve dinner, while others offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. To find out which restaurant is available for a sit-down meal during breakfast or lunch, consult your daily planner.

2. Marketplace Buffet

The Marketplace Buffet, located on Deck 15, is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and is a popular choice for casual dining. It is a large area with stations for different types of food. While on the Euribia, I tried pizza, pasta and a few snacks, and I was quite impressed.

It also offers freshly made mozzarella, which you can see the staff in the process of making it. 

There are also service buttons on tables, allowing you to request drinks service directly​. I used this a couple of times, and the staff arrived within a couple of minutes.

3. Atmosphere Bar South

As I went in January and the weather was cold and windy, this wasn’t open. However, it is located on the pool deck (Deck 15), and it serves pizza and burgers.

4. Carousel Lounge

The Carousel Lounge is ideal for light bites and is open until the early evening. This snack bar offers a range of pastries, muffins, and finger sandwiches, providing a nice alternative when the buffet area is crowded.

Speciality Restaurants

1. Hola! Tacos & Cantina

Hola! Tacos & Cantina on MSC Euribia offers an authentic Mexican dining experience. This specialty restaurant serves a range of Mexican dishes, including tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and guacamole. The vibrant and colourful decor creates a lively atmosphere, matching the spirit of the cuisine. 

The restaurant operates on a per-dish pricing system, with items like tacos starting from €2, making it a popular choice among passengers. Advance reservations are recommended due to its popularity. Here’s a photo of the menu…

2. Kaito Teppanyaki

Kaito Teppanyaki is a specialty restaurant on MSC Euribia that offers a traditional Japanese teppanyaki experience. Guests can enjoy an interactive dining experience where skilled chefs prepare meals right before their eyes. 

The restaurant features two teppanyaki grills and is known for its lively atmosphere. It’s a delightful spot for those looking for an entertaining and delicious dining experience.

3. Kaito Sushi and Robatayaki

Kaito Sushi and Robatayaki on MSC Euribia combines the art of sushi making with robatayaki, a Japanese barbecue-like method of cooking. This unique combination allows guests to enjoy a range of sushi, sashimi, and grilled items. 

For the first time in the MSC Cruises fleet, Kaito includes a Robatayaki space, offering a novel culinary experience with a variety of seafood, meats, and vegetables cooked at varying speeds. Here’s a sample of their menu…

4. Kaito Sushi

Kaito Sushi offers a selection of traditional and modern sushi rolls catering to various tastes. This sushi bar provides a more intimate dining experience, with a menu of 40 different sushi items made from fresh and carefully sourced ingredients. 

The restaurant’s ambience combines elegance with the culinary artistry of sushi making, making it a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts.

5. Le Grill

Le Grill is an elegant specialty restaurant on MSC Euribia that offers a French bistro-style dining experience. The restaurant’s menu centres around shared dishes, including seafood platters, caviar, and chargrilled aged Black Angus beef. 

Traditional French dishes like Caesar salad, French onion soup, moules frites, and a selection of French desserts are also available. The pre-dinner bar outside Le Grill enhances the dining experience, creating an ambience reminiscent of the streets of Paris.

6. Jean-Philippe Crepes & Gelato

At Jean-Philippe Crêpes & Gelato, located on the promenade on Deck 6 of MSC Euribia, you’re in for a treat with their extensive selection of both crepes and gelato. This delightful venue caters to a wide range of tastes, offering a variety of fillings and toppings for crepes that range from classic favourites to more innovative combinations. 

The gelato here is particularly noteworthy, freshly made on board and available in an impressive array of flavours. It’s the kind of place where you can visit several times a day and still find something new to try each time.

7. Atmosphere Ice Cream Bar

The Atmosphere Ice Cream Bar, with its convenient poolside location, is the perfect spot to enjoy a classic ice cream treat while soaking in the sun and fun of the pool area. 

They serve a range of soft-serve ice cream flavours, complete with a variety of toppings to choose from.
